Who designed what when?

How can we judge the quality of furniture designed by today's graduates? Furniturelink had an idea — find images from previous generations' graduate shows to compare to current examples.

After hours of research furniturelink concluded most students and schools (1) didn't archive images in the eras before Instagram© (2010),Letraset© (1961) and Xerox© 914 (1959) — idea abandoned for lack of content.

To salvage part of the idea and show designers' work from then and now, furniturelink devised a simple quiz of mostly established designers' work and some student work.

To do the quiz, select a "designed when" date (right column) for each piece of furniture displayed. Click "Submit" at the bottom to get your results. Then hover your mouse over a box (short delay) to see the designer's name and year.

Enjoy the challenge and find out if you know who designed what when.
